After participating in this year long competition, including a solo exhibition at Red Eight Gallery in London, Luke was presented the award for best emerging artist of the year.

“I use lots of different tools as well. I use electric sanders, grinders, anything to remove paint really. I just want to constantly experiment and this has been an interesting medium to work in. It sort of feels like there isn't a textbook for how to do this so it's very much trial and error but then you get interesting results.”
